Stance

Your stance is important for balance at the beginning, middle and end of your swing. Your stance should be about shoulder width apart with your weight towards the front of your feet. If your stance is too narrow, you will not be able to transfer your weight during the swing, not finish properly and lose power. Your stance will change for specialty shots like chipping and driving the ball. When chipping the stance should be narrower and driving I like the stance to be a bit wider. Your front toe will be open or pointing a little left if you are right handed and pointing right if you are left handed.
