Club Position

The position of your hands and posture are a direct result on how your club is positioned on the ground. To make hitting the ball easier you must make sure the bottom of the club sits flat on the ground giving you more club head surface to make contact. In picture 1 you will see the club does not sit flat on the ground, picture 2 is the proper way for your club to sit on the ground.

Picture 3 shows the reason for the improper club position, the hands are too low which in turn creates improper posture.

Picture 4 shows a better hand position which should be approximately a fist from the fly on your pants. The posture in the picture is more upright which creates a better club position and a strong swing position.
